A 31-year-old man believed to have burnt to death in December last year walked into the Krugersdorp Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday. The man was said to have been killed in an apparent car accident in Krugersdorp on December 16, police spokesperson Captain Appel Ernst said. News 24 reports that his name is being withheld while police investigate the matter.
He is facing a charge of fraud in the Krugersdorp court, and a charge of murder in a court in the Free State. The man allegedly went to the Free State after the accident, which led to the question whose body was found at the accident scene. The Krugersdorp Magistrate’s Court postponed the matter to July 6.
