Fear has become a stranger to me,
All my images of her,
Are in those memories of dark pasts;
In my childhood days,
When by day we used to play,
And at nite she would haunt my bed;
But past the departure of that star from our blood,
Fear also packed and departed abroad;
And I see a future of Africa built in my eyes,
Yes, fear has become a stranger for life.
