Angela Rayner a member of the British parliament representing Ashton-under-Lyne came out to openly support the Biafran course. While speaking to IPOB protesters, she told them that she had referred their case to Amnesty International.
Rayner commended them for the peaceful way they were going about their agitation and promised to use any avenue at her disposal to assist them. She encouraged them to keep protesting peacefully and to keep shouting because according to her it is a good and true course.
She concluded by telling that as they continue to shout peacefully, they would hopefully get peace and justice.
