#Lullaby: SABONGARI Arson Damages To Be Assessed By Commission In Two weeks

Kano State govern­ment has extended the mandate of the Judicial Commission of In­quiry into the fire incident at Singer Market and other markets in Kano city by two weeks, to enable it cov­er the recent fire outbreak at Sabon Gari market. Announcing the exten­sion during a meeting with the Commission, Gover­nor Abdullahi Umar Gan­duje said the extension became essential in view of the extent of damage done by the Sabon Gari market inferno. Describing Sabon Gari market fire outbreak as the worst ever that happened in the history of Kano, gov­ernor Ganduje assured that his administration is deter­mined to come up with so­lutions against recurrence of such incidents.
