Kano State governÂment has extended the mandate of the Judicial Commission of InÂquiry into the fire incident at Singer Market and other markets in Kano city by two weeks, to enable it covÂer the recent fire outbreak at Sabon Gari market.
Announcing the extenÂsion during a meeting with the Commission, GoverÂnor Abdullahi Umar GanÂduje said the extension became essential in view of the extent of damage done by the Sabon Gari market inferno.
Describing Sabon Gari market fire outbreak as the worst ever that happened in the history of Kano, govÂernor Ganduje assured that his administration is deterÂmined to come up with soÂlutions against recurrence of such incidents.
