To know who we are as Afrikans we can look at our name "AFRIKA" from where we became "Afrikans".
There are a lot of theories about our original name, some say it is "Alkebulan" Arabic for " The Land Of The Blacks". Alkebulan according to them is the "oldest" and the only name of "indigenous" origin, and according to them, it was used by the Moors, Nubians, Numidians, Khart-Haddans (Carthaginians), and Ethiopians.
That the name "Alkebulan" itself is ARABIC tells u all you need to about the origin. It was popularised by the Moors that is "Blacks" in Latin language. The Moors spoke Arabic, they conquered Europe 711AD after taking Spain under the Afrikan General Tarik Ibn Ziad whose name was used to name the Rock of Gibraltar. We blacks then ruled Europe for 700 years approximately: till 1492.
The era ended with the Reconquista during which the Catholic authorities burnt over 1,000,000 Arabic texts.
This is one of the hidden golden eras of Afrikans which only VERY few of us know: WE ruled Europe 700 years, after which Europe used the knowledge acquired from us to turn back and enslave and colonise us since 1492 AD, that is about 500 years of white domination. But the rise of Afrika Familia is to put us back into the place of power Forever and ever.
Back to the etymology: the name Alkebulan is Arabic and not Afrikan, as we used Arabic as our language then just as we are mostly using English language today.
Some also say "Afrika" was gotten from Scipio Africanus the Roman General that deceitfully won Hannibal the great black warrior. They claimed that he named us "Afrika" after himself.
But that is also not true: the original name if that general was Scipio Publius Cornelius, after his defeat of Hannibal, he took on the nick name "Africanus" meaning "The Afrikan".
You can only become "The Afrikan" if a place was named "Afrika", or "The Kenyan" if there was a "Kenya". So understand that Afrika as our name existed before the Roman empire of yesterday, rather it is Europe which was named after a black queen of Phoenician (Canaanite) origin. So blacks have always been the Lords of Europe, that is who we are.
Finally, to get to the landing:
According to world famous Scholar Ivan Van Sertima, "Afrika" is gotten from the Kemetian (Egyptian) term "Af-rui-ka". The term “Afru-ika” means “birthplace” or “Motherland,” according to historian Ivan Van Sertima. Af-rui-ka means “to turn toward the opening of the Ka, womb or birthplace.”
Also, according to historically proven facts, life began in Afrika; also, religion, spirituality, science, philosophy, mathematics etc all have Afrikan origin, and also humanity emigrated "Out of Afrika" to populate the whole world.
The pyramid texts in Egypt, Afrika 2400–2300 BC are the oldest religious texts anywhere in the world. During the 5th or 6th Dynasties of the Old Kingdom in Ancient Egypt, the text was carved on to the walls and within the sarcophagi of the Saqqara pyramids;
The three oldest known mathematical objects in the world are from Afrika. There are two ishango bones, both from the Democratic Republic of Congo. The Lebombo bone is from a cave on the border between Swaziland and Azania (South Afrika).
The Ishango bones are named for the Ishango area of the North-Kivu Province located in northeastern Democratic Republic of Congo. It lies near the shores of the Semliki River in the Virunga National Park. The site of Ishango has been populated by humans for over 25,000 years.
The second Ishango bone was discovered first in 1959. It comes from the same layer of excavation as the first bone. It is 40 cm long with 90 notches categorized as “major” and “minor” due to length. It is has a six sided shape with a broken, hollow end.
The first Ishango bone led to a reanalysis of the second. It is the first Ishango bone which had markings which are considered the oldest known mathematical evidence. The craftsman who made it scrapped, thinned, and polished to such an extent that the original source of the bone is difficult to determine, although it is considered to be either the bone of a baboon or lion.
Both Ishango bones have been dated to approximately 20,000 before the present.
In the 1970's during the excavations of Border Cave, a small piece of the fibula of a baboon, the Lebombo bone, was found marked with 29 clearly defined notches, and, at 37,000 years old, it ranks with the oldest mathematical objects known.
Now to other forms of knowledge:
In his book "Stolen Legacy", George. G.M. James outlined several points that established the fact that there is nothing like "Greek Civilization", that "Western civilization" is an appropriation of Afrikan civilization. According to him:
Ancient Greek historians Herodotus and Diogenes testified that what the Greeks knew were what they got from Afrika. Herodotus testified that the teachers in Egypt were all blacks with wooly hairs "as were also people in most parts of the world", that is, blacks populated most of the world then, not slavery took all blacks out of Afrika.
He also pointed out how the Greek philosophers were persecuted by the Greek govt for the so-called"Greek philosophy" "which it regarded as foreign in origin and
treated it accordingly"
He stated further: "Only a brief study of history is necessary to show that Greek philosophers
were undesirable citizens, who throughout the period of their investigations were victims of
relentless persecution, at the hands of the Athenian government.
Anaxagoras was imprisoned and
exiled; Socrates was executed; Plato was sold into slavery and Aristotle was indicted and exiled;
while the earliest of them all, Pythagoras, was expelled from Croton in Italy. Can we imagine the
Greeks making such an about turn, as to claim the very teachings which they had at first
persecuted and openly rejected?
Certainly, they knew they were usurping what they had never
produced, and as we enter step by step into our study, the greater do we discover evidence which
leads us to the conclusion that Greek philosophers were not the authors of Greek philosophy, but
the Egyptian Priests and Hierophants."
Also, scholars have pointed out that, it was the European nation (Greek) that was closest to Egypt that was the first to be civilised because of it's proximity to light (Kemet, Afrika), while the Nordic Europe which is far from Afrika was at that time was fruitless.
The testimony of Herodotus, the reflection of light in Greece among other facts prove the Afrikan origin of whatever Europe and the world know today.
Finally, the colours we know when all mixed together, give one color: black. Black is the richest color. It is the original colour that exists from which other colors are drawn into existence: Check the first verses of the book of Genesis in the Holy Bible.
Black is the mother of all colors; the color that matches any color whatsoever. Therefore the Original man is black, from which men of other colors were born.
A black man and woman can give birth to a yellow, pink or white child, but a white or yellow cannot give birth to black except there was a recent black progenitor whose gene played out. But everyday we see blacks giving birth to albinos who are as white as any white person, but never the reverse.
In summary, The name AFRIKA means birthplace, it means the original land; humanity, religion, science and wisdom all came out of Afrika; the color of the Afrikan man is the color that gave birth to the colors of the world.
