John Kasich is ending his presidential campaign. After trailing by nearly 900 delegates, and only winning his home state, the Ohio governor has suspended his campaign.
Kasich is expected to address the media on Wednesday night at 5pm. The announcement comes after Donald Trump won the Indiana primary, all but sealing the Republican nomination.
Earlier in the day, Kasich tweeted a message for Star Wars Day, saying that he is America's "only hope" against Trump and Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton. Reince Priebus, the Republican National Committee chariman, tweeted on Tuesday night declaring Trump the "presumptive nominee."
