Angry farmers, youths and local hunters in many communities around the country have reportedly vowed to fight against Fulani herdsmen.
According to Punch, the communities said they remained eager to stop what they termed “mindless killings” and destruction of property by the herdsmen. They argued that they had lost confidence in security agencies’ ability to protect them against the endless attacks and had therefore, resorted to “self-help”.
This came a day after the leader of the Fulani community in the South-East Ardo Saidu, revealed reasons why herdsmen attacked and killed scores of Ukpabi- Nimbo people in the Enugu State last week.
