MY ADDRESS TO THE WORLD
What Shall We Do To Prosper Afrika?
Proceeding
Greetings to all Afrikan people all over the world I am Eze Chimere Nwauzo Chairman of the One Afrika Family Organization welcoming you to our first Pan-Afrikan Conference a conference that will set the pace for massive Conferences and gatherings that will create a better future for Afrikans all over the world.
Our Dream Is to give we the Afrikan people the best, that life has to offer as our vision is to Lead Afrikans from last to first.
Once again thank you for honoring our invitation we say to you Nno, sanu, jambo
The first Pan-Afrikan Conference was held In London in the year 1900 organised by a lawyer named Sylvester- Williams in collaboration with several black leaders representing various countries of the Afrikan Diaspora.
Between 1900 and 1945 Afrikans  met six times to discuss the conditions of blacks in the world;
The legacy of slavery and European domination of Afrika; the role of Afrika in world history;
the importance of independent nations governed by people of Afrikan descent, such as Ethiopia, Haiti, and Liberia;
issue of Colonisation of Afrika and to press for eventual independence of Afrikan states.
Today, all Afrikan states have gotten their "independence", blacks now rule over their indigenous States in Afrika, segregation in America is over and Afrikans now have more say in global affairs than before the first Pan-Afrikan Conference was held in 1900.
All these successes give testimony to the fact that unity is strength and that Kwame Nkrumah was right in saying "there is no force however formidable that a united people cannot overcome" and that ultimately, the Pan-Afrikan Conferences were really successful.
For we the Afrikan Family today, we have a different set of issues bothering our community:
The independence our ancestors fought for have been gotten, we now have our own Presidents or prime ministers, Governors, lawyers, our own flags and representatives in global organizations, we now seem to be in control of our economy, health, education etcetera yet we find out out we are still at the bottom of the ladder.
We now elect our politicians ourselves in the so-called elections only to end up with dictatorships.
We now seem to have control over the resources of our states yet we still export our raw materials, import finished products and still complain that millions of us are still unemployed just like yesterday;
We are independent yet we are not free
It has finally dawned on us that independence is not freedom
And that colonialism is not the last stage of imperialism
Therefore it has finally dawned us that the battle is not yet over the burden in our heart is where do we go from here?
How do we become entirely free?
Free from colonialism, free from tribalism, free from corruption, nepotism and dictatorship?
How do we lift the hundreds of millions of our people from poverty to prosperity?
How do we use our God-given resources to build a world we can be proud of like our ancestors had in the golden age of Afrika?
How do we turn the sorrows caused by poverty, wars and diseases in Afrika to peace, joy happiness and prosperity for all Afrikans.
How do we solve Afrika' s problems?
What is the solution to the Afrikan challenges?
In the Berlin Conference of 1884, the entire Afrika was shared like a piece of meat by Colonisers.
Foreigners sat like butchers in the heart of Germany to discuss Afrikan affairs against the interest of Afrikans.
After the colonial Conference in Berlin
We couldn't stop our people from
being murdered in millions,
We could not stop our civilizations from being destroyed,
our people were dispossessed, as our lands were taken from us   and our nations were being reduced to colonies one after the other right before our eyes,
we were cut into satellite states for the benefits of colonisers and Afrika is still very much colonised today.
In what ways today are we even better off than yesterday?
Look at how we are the poorest continent and people on earth with 75% of the poorest countries being found in Afrika. Afrika the richest continent, Afrika home to the poorest people, why;
Look at how the skeletons of Afrikan Youths are littering daily in the hot Sahara desert and being drowned daily in  the deep blue Mediterranean sea, while those who are also unfortunate are being enslaved in Libya just because they want to crossover from Afrika to Europe. WHY, why must we be fleeing from Afrika the cradle of civilizations, why;
Why can't the resources in Afrika be used to develop Afrika?
This reminds me of what Dr.  Kwame Nkrumah wrote in his book "Afrika Must Unite" which was published in 1963 saying
"All stock exchanges in the world are pre-occupied with Afrika’s gold, diamonds, uranium, platinum, copper and iron ore."
That was 1963. 55 years later the story is till the same.
We have abundance of resources to bless Afrika, and abundance of corruption to rob Afrika
Afrika is the richest place on earth, yet our youths are dying in the desert sands and the Mediterranean Sea on their way to Europe
We have the second largest continent: Afrika is 11.7 million square miles of land, forget about what you see in the maps, Afrika is almost twice the size of Russia of 6.6million square miles meaning that Afrika is bigger than Canada, the United States and China put together, plus Over 55% of Afrika’s workers are into Agriculture yet 430,213,640 people in Afrika can hardly eat in a day.
Afrika’s population has been increasing rapidly, growing from 221 million in 1950 to 1 billion in 2009.  The current population of Afrika is 1,288,642,824 as of Saturday, July 14, 2018, based on the latest United Nations estimates.
Afrika's population is equivalent to 16.64% of the total world population,  yet Afrika's productivity is only about 2.4% of world production.
If nearly half of all children in inner Afrika are living in extreme poverty, according to a joint UNICEF-World Bank report
Seventy-five percent of the world's poorest countries are located in Afrika, how are we going to cope when by 2050, 1.3 billion people are going to be added to the population of Afrika making our population to be about 2.6 billion people, how are we going to cope then?
We have rulers everywhere yet in need of leaders;
Some believe that Afrika is cursed, that black is a curse sign, yet Afrika is the Cradle of civilization and black is the colour of originality meaning that Afrika is not under any curse but our hardships today were caused.
We have to solve the Afrikan challenges. Some believe that the challenges of Afrika cannot be solved, that Afrika is doomed to eternal bondage. But we the One-Afrika Family Organization believe in the Afrikan Solution; we the Afrikan Family believe in  Afrikan Progress, we do not only believe in Afrikan Progress, we believe it is our responsibility to act towards Afrikan Progress.
The belief that the key to Afrikan progress lies somewhere is right in our heart, but the question is "what is it?"
Is it in religion?
Afrika is the most religious place on earth, and also India, yet we don't know them by prosperity, while less religious states are flying on top of the worlds.
I believe that faith has its place in the development of Nations but there is still something missing in the Afrikan solution. Religious men might find that light in their spirituality. For Afrika, what is that light?;
Is it more education?
We have education, yet instead of productivity, it has given us more unemployment. We need education, proper education and not just education, bit education to point us to the way. Education is to liberate the minds and show us the way to Afrikan progress, but that education must teach us something we obviously have ignored or have trifled or perhaps not yet fully applied.
But if it is education in science and technology, economics or psychology or solving more mathematics, we have people who can do all these, we have talents wasting ever here with their inventions yet no environment for them to manifest what God has given to them while we go to Europe, China or Amerika to buy the same things we can produce here.
So what should education teach us to do for Afrikan Progress?
Is it independence?
On average, Afrikan states have been "independent" for 50 years, yet they still rely on their former colonisers like President Nana Addo of Ghana told President Macron of France " ", we still have the British Commonwealth, France-Afrique etc look at Congo today, struggling with mozamfor which country that is the poorest in the world today, things are not better for them today than yesterdayin fact, we are not much netter off today than before the so-called independence except that we now have our own flags, UN representatives, Presidents who still answer to their fellow Presidents in their former colonies;
Is it more agriculture?
Like stated earlier, over 55% of Afrikans are into Agriculture yet we have 430million people starving everyday, while only less than 2% of America feed all the 326 million Americans and still have much to export
Or freer elections?
Elect who you like, the colonisers will still call the shots because direct colonialism is gone but indirect rule is still the policy today, it is dance to the colonial tunes or you lose the stage. That is if you are able to conduct free and fair elections.
Now let's compare the 50 years pains we have had after independence to America after independence
America fought seven years war of Independence which Britain fought with all their hearts to make sure that America remained their colony. Immediately America won the independence war in  1783 under the leadership of General George Washington, they came together, all the thirteen former colonies that made up the American confederation and formed the United States of America under the leadership of General George Washington.
After that great move was made, that was it, the end of Colonisation of America, America became safe to be rebuilt never to be colonised again.
Today, you cannot do anything serious in the world today without America being the leader even being followed by their former coloniser Britain.
Today American GDP is 24.73% of world GDP while the GDP of all Afrikan states put together is only 2.4%.
Today, American Dollar is almost the world currency, while Afrikan states still need dollar to trade with each other, we still use French currencies called CFA, and also we sell our oil, gold etc in dollars rather than in our own currency;
The American president is the leader of the world, while we have politicians who are only strong in the repression of their own people who they swore to protect;
America has about 12 Aircraft carriers while we have none in Afrika.
Singapore a nation-state with only a population of  5  million people and no natural resource that water alone had to put her house in order even with diverse ethnicity that includes Malaysians, Chinese and Koreans yet under the leadership of Lee kwan Yu the tiny Ethnically diverse nation grew from a third world nation to a first world nation today with more than 10,000 multinational companies, the  world’s fastest  growing  economy between  1960  and  2000,  registering  an  average  annual  rate  of growth  of  almost  8  percent, more  than  90  percent  of  families,  live  in  a  home  they own,  and  offer first-rate  public  education?
China had to learn from Singapore. When China’s  leader,  Deng  Xiaoping, visited  Singapore  in 1978.   He  was  impressed  by  how  the  city-state  had  benefited  from international  trade  and  foreign  investment  and  managed to  maintain  social  order.  His  dream to  “plant  a  thousand  Singapore’s  in  China”  has  since  sparked  hundreds  of  study tours  by Chinese  officials  to  the  island.
According to the World Bank, more than 500 million people were lifted out of extreme poverty as China's poverty rate fell from 88 percent in 1981 to 6.5 percent in 2012,
Today, China is the second largest economy in the world with a global GDP of $14 trillion with less than 2%, less than 30 million out of 1. 4b Chinese living in extreme poverty.  Yet in Afrika we have not been able to go pass the first requirements for nation building.
We have not yet asked ourselves
What is the foundation of Afrikan progress?
What is the key to the Afrikan Progress
What is the Afrikan solution?
The search for the Afrikan Solution to the Afrikan challenges have been a mighty burden in the hearts of Afrikans. After exploring all the possible solutions to the Afrikan challenges, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah who was voted the greatest Afrikan of the millennium had to exclaim "it is clear that we must find the Afrikan solution to the Afrikan challenges and that Afrikan solution is Afrikan Unity"
America had to lay the same foundation by forming the United States of America, Lee kwan yu had to first unify the ethnic groups of Singapore, the Communist party had to Unify China for them to progress knowing fully well that unity is the foundational step toward any national progress
Even Europe had to sign the Westphalia peace treaties of 1648 to end religious wars in Europe in order to focus on building rather than destroying
Not only Dr Kwame Nkrumah agrees that the Afrikan Solution we have been waiting for is Afrikan Unity: all the notable Afrikan leaders and scholars have all unanimously spoken:
In the 5th panAfrikan conference held in Manchester in the year 1945, all the Afrikan delegates including those from India came to the conclusion that to end colonialism in Afrika, free Afrika and move Afrika the resolution is simple: "Afrika Unite"
From the wisdom of Great Pan-Afrikan Leader of the 20th century Marcus Garvey
"Afrika must Unite"
According to great scholar Cheik Anta Diop "Afrika must unite"
De. Kwame Nkrumah wrote it as a book with the title "Afrika must unite"
Former President Julius Mwalimu  Nyerere of Tanzania told us to "work for unity with the full assurance that without unity there is no future of Afrika"
And Muma Gadafi put into action and showed in concrete terms that Afrikan can Unite, must unite and Afrika will be great when Afrika Unites
And I Eze Chimere Nwauzo support the wisdom of our leaders by asserting " Afrikan Unity is the Foundation of Afrikan progress and the first mission of any genuine Afrikan leader must be to Unify Afrika"
As it is written "Behold how good and how pleasant it is..."
And the Afrikan Proverb says
"If you want to go fast go alone, if you want to go far go together"
Remember, a single stick can easily be broken, but when you bring many sticks together the same force that broke one cannot break them anymore
Remember that unlike Singapore, Afrika is not battling colonialism alone, Afrika is battling colonialism and white supremacist beliefs that Afrikans should be ruled over anf that no Afrikan state should rise eg the case of Ghana, Libya, Zimbabwe and Congo, as Kwame Nkrumah and Archbishop Desmond Tutu in their wisdom admonished us " no Afrikan state can go alone, we can only be free when we combine our forces and go together as One Afrika"
When slavery got to a peak in the Caribbean Islands, it was the unity of all blacks under the leadership of Touissant L'Ouverture that overthrew the forces of slavery and abolished slavery in Haiti.
When there was Jim Crow racism, discrimination against blacks in America, it was the unity of all blacks and some other people under the leaderships of Dr. Martin Luther King jr and The great Malcolm X that brought the prejudice against blacks in America down to its knees, if blacks unite again in Amerika, the .
When the world was wondering if Afrikans ever contributed anything to world development, it was Pan-Afrikanism that challenged that notion of black inferiority and proved to the world that not only did Afrika contribute to the civilization of the world, but that Afrika is the birthplace, the Cradle of civilization and that for thousands of years Afrika was at the forefront of all world progress until colonisers came and did all harm and no good to Afrikans.
When Afrikans thought that being black was a curse, that being black was a bad omen, a disadvantage or limitation, it was through Afrikan Unity, through the philosophy of Pan-Afrikanism that blacks were able to regain the consciousness that Black is beautiful and that in no way is the black man inferior to the white man and that even the white man is an offspring of the black. The quote by Marcus Garvey "the black skin is not a symbol of shame but a badge of national Honor" changed the negative view of the black skin and made us proud to be black that is the power of Pan-Afrikanism.
After the Berlin Conference of 1884-1885 when AFRIKA was sharedd among the Europeans and the Colonisation of Afrika was complete in the minds of the colonisers, it was Afrikan Unity it was Pan-Afrikanism, it was Afrikans getting together in the PanAfrikanConferences like this in the 19th century that the idea of Colonisation of Afrika was challenged, the independence of Afrikan states was ever voiced out and the conquest of Afrikans began to be pushed back on retreat.
When Nelson Rohlila Mandela challenged the evil of apartheid in South Afrika in the 1980s and 1990s, it was the united efforts of Afrikans in Libya, Nigeria, Bahamas, Afrika, in America all over the world that stood against the colonial subjugation of the Afrikan people in South Afrika that brought Apartheid to an end, and listen, it is only the Continental Unification of Afrika that will complete the total political and economic liberation of Azania.
When the Italians invaded Ethiopia to colonise her in the years 1895 - 1896 Afrikans worldwide rallied together, dropped their working dresses and took on their military uniforms to fight on the side of their fellow Afrikans. The result: Ethiopia won, therefore Ethiopia is the only Afrikan state that was never colonised, because of the Global unity of Afrikans
If Afrika was united and not Divided into about ten thousand states, Afrika would not have been enslaved,
If there was the Continental Unity of Afrika in the 19th century, there wouldn't not have been a Berlin Conference of 1884 becauseAfrika would not have been colonised, it wouldnt have crossed the minds of the colonisers.
Afrika would have been in charge, Afrika would not have been disgraced.
If not for Afrikan unity, Afrikans would have still being under direct colonialism, if not for Afrikan Unity there would never have been the semi independence we have today, if not for Afrikan Unity the whole world would have still been thinking that Afrikans never contributed anything to civilization even though we contributed almost everything to civilization, if not for Afrikan Unity, being black would have still being a curse
But today, Afrikan Progress is not yet complete and that is because Afrikan Unity is not yet complete. The dreams of the fathers of Pan-Afrikanism have not yet being fulfilled, Afrikan Unity has not yet gotten the boiling point where no pathogen or disease can survive the heat of Afrikan glory.
No what do we mean by Afrikan Unity, what is Afrikan Unity?
Afrikan Unity is Afrikan progress
Afrikan Unity is Afrikans coming together in Conferences, congresses on the roundtables to decide how Afrika should be, how Afrika should not be;
Afrikan Unity is Afrikans working together toward Afrikan progress;
Afrikan Unity is the maturity of we Afrikans to handle our issues ourselves, resolve whatever differences we have as a family and get the way forward and move forward toward progress.
Afrikan Unity is the Global unity of Afrikans
The global unity of Afrikans is the global coming together of 1.28 billion Afrikans at home and hundreds of millions of people of Afrikan descent abroad speaking with one voice, with one heart, one soul as a family to decide on Afrikan affairs.
It is all about the cooperation of all Afrikans all over the world for the good you and for me;
The Global unity of Afrikans is the brotherhood, the organization of all Afrikans as one family worldwide;
to form a global Afrikan economic community, to work as one people under one God, one value system and one common destiny, one vision, as Marcus Garvey taught us in the days of the UNIA.
The global unity of Afrikans is the first dimension of Afrikan Unity it formed the foundation for the Continental Unity of Afrika, it addressed the issue of Colonisation of Afrika and motivated the move for the independence of Afrika from the colonisers and also gave us the idea of the Continental Unity of Afrika.
Marcus Garvey, William Blyden, Malcolm X, William Dubious, Henrik Clarke, George Padmore and many great sons of Afrika are the pioneers of the Global unity of Afrikans and they gave us the motion to move for the second dimension of Afrikan unity which is the Unification of the entire continent of Afrika as one.
They told us to learn from the American story, to learn from the Unification of lower and upper Egypt by Pharaoh Nama Aha Mena.
Our fathers made us know that we do not need 20, 30 or 50 countries in Afrika;
we do not need 30 or 40 currencies in Afrika;
that WE must build an  "Afrika for Afrikans" and the only way to build an Afrika for Afrikans and not the French Afrika or the British west Afrika or the German Afrika is by us building the United States of Afrika:
One nation under one God
One people with one Afrikan Identity, One language, one monetary system one central bank one Army
Only by our oneness shall we have our individual freedoms, only by our oneness shall we have significance, only by our oneness shall we have enough Might to be free from bondage, independence can never guarantee that if we must go far we must go together
To have a govt that commands respect in the world Afrika must unite;
To make Afrikans see fellow Afrikans as brother and sisters rather than rivals and killers
Afrika unite;
To completely solve the problems of poverty in Afrika, Afrika must unite;
If we want to stop killing ourselves, stop cheating, envying, fighting ourselves for the interests of colonisers who love neither you nor your brother but just using us to achieve their wicked aims
Afrikans Unite
To protect every area of Afrika from isolation and selective destruction Afrika must unite
To reclaim all that was stolen from Afrika Afrika must unite
To prove that we are able to settle our differences and become a better people Afrika must unite
To reclaim fully the history of Afrika, the great deeds of Afrikans which are not being taught in schools;
To reclaim the records of great accomplishment of the Afrikan people which hardly proceed from the mouths of those who wish to enslave Afrika perpetually;
To remind those nations of the world who deliberately forgot the glorious Afrikan history
And to teach those who still think that Afrika has no history: the answer is simple, Afrika, Unite and reclaim your history
As Patrice Emery Lumumba former President of Congo once famously said
“The day will come when history will speak. But it will not be the history which will be taught in Brussels, Paris, Washington or the United Nations…Afrika will write its own history and in both north and south it will be a history of glory and dignity”
The time to the true history of Afrika will speak is the time Afrika Unites
When Afrika Unites*2
We shall have peace the peace and  strength and grace needed to rebuild Afrika because we shall together end the wars and  join our hands to rebuild  the homeland of all mankind only by the grace of God and Our United efforts.
But while we rejoice at the joys that comes with Afrikan Unity let us not forget the adage says that nothing good comes easy.  But no matter how big or how tall and large the mountains that stand on our way, we shall overcome them with this understanding that "whatever stands in the way of Afrikan Unity, stands on the way of Afrikan progress. And the same we strive to overcome those obstacles that stand on our ways so shall we come together and dismantle all the obstacles that stands on the way of Afrikan Unity which is Afrikan Progress.

Whether ethnicism or tribalism which are the tools used by to divide and rule us we shall overcome them all when we sit down on the roundtable refusing to stand until the last ethnic problem is resolved and  third dimension of Afrikan Unity is fixed and the ethnic groups of Afrika shall see each other as one and fellow Afrikans and the United States of Afrika shall rise as a star admired from near and afar an Afrika for AFRIKANS with prosperity for every Afrikan

Afrika, Unite!!!
